The Central University of Kashmir has extended its winter vacation until February 14.
This decision is due to inclement weather and ongoing student internships outside Jammu & Kashmir.
Offline classes are now scheduled to resume on February 17, as per the university's communique.
From February 10 to 14, regular classwork will be conducted online to maintain academic continuity.
The decision followed a meeting of Deans and Heads of Departments, approved by the competent authority.
All Heads and Coordinators are directed to efficiently structure timetables to complete the semester syllabus.
The aim is to ensure syllabus completion before the End Semester Examinations (ESE).
Previously, the university was scheduled to reopen on February 10 after a long winter break.
