If you didn’t qualify in one or two subjects, this compartment exam is your chance to improve your scores and move forward without losing an academic year. But don’t delay—the last date to apply for the compartment exam is April 12, 2025.
Similarly, if you feel that your marks don’t reflect your hard work and performance, you can apply for the scrutiny process. This allows your answer sheets to be re-evaluated, ensuring that no errors were made during checking. The last date to apply for scrutiny is April 8, 2025.
Who Can Apply for the Compartment Exam?
Students who fail in one or two subjects can register for the compartment exam. This applies to both compulsory and optional subjects, including English, Science, Mathematics, and Social Science. Candidates must submit their applications through the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com before the deadline.
How to Apply for Scrutiny?
For those who believe their marks should have been higher, the scrutiny process is available. Students can select up to three subjects for re-evaluation. The application requires an online fee of ₹120 per subject, which can be paid using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. To apply, visit the official website and follow the step-by-step registration process. After applying, a system-generated ID and password will allow you to track your request.
When Will the Results Be Announced?
The results for the BSEB 10th Compartment Exam are expected to be declared by May 31, 2025. Until then, students should focus on revising their subjects and making the most of this second chance. For Class 12 students, the BSEB Intermediate results were announced on March 25, 2025. If any student is unhappy with their marks, they can apply for scrutiny until April 8, 2025.
