To be eligible for either post, candidates must have passed their 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination from any recognised board in India. For Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), you must also have typing skills, either 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Those applying for the Junior Stenographer post must be proficient in stenography. The total of 246 posts is spread across various CSIR institutes, including CSIR-CRRI, CSIR HQRS, CSIR-NPL, CSIR-NIScPR, and CSIR-IGIB. Among these, CSIR Headquarters has the highest number of openings with 153 vacancies, followed by other prestigious research institutes of India. This distribution offers flexibility for candidates to get posted in some of the top scientific and administrative institutions of the country.
