Impurities : When the impurities are added to superconducting material, the properties can be changed abruptly. In particular the magnetic properties can be changed.
Size : If the size is reduced below 100μm the superconducting properties such as magnetic permeability is no longer zero and critical magnetic field (Hc) increases than bulk material.
Frequency : The zero resistance of the super conductor can be modified by frequency. The zero resistance property can be maintained upto GHz. At GHz range of frequency the material show some resistance even below the critical temperature.
Stress : The transition temperature can be changed by application of stress. When stress is increased the dimension of the material increases which in turn increase the transition temperature.
