Know the complete process of the application

KVS has started the online application process for classes 1 and Balvatika 1 and 3 from 7 March 2025. To apply, you have to visit the website kvsangathan.nic.in and follow the instructions given there. The last date of application has been kept as 21 March 2025, so do not forget to fill out the form on time.

When and how to wait for the admission list?

Whenever the admission process starts in a school, the biggest question in the minds of parents is when will the selection list be released. KVS has made it clear that the first selection list of class 1 will be released on March 25, 2025, while the first list of Balvatika will come on March 26, 2025. If the child’s name does not appear in these lists, then there is no need to worry. The second list will be released on April 2 and the third list on April 7, 2025.

What is the age limit?

Before admission, it is important to know whether your child’s age is according to the prescribed standards or not. KVS has set the following age limits for Class 1 and Balvatika:

Class 1: 6 years (as of 31 March 2025)
Balvatika-1: 3 to 4 years
Balvatika-2: 4 to 5 years
Balvatika-3: 5 to 6 years
If your child’s age is by these criteria, then you can apply without hesitation.

What is the procedure for admission?

If you want to get your child admitted to class 2 or above, then the offline application process will be followed for this. Applications for admission from classes 2 to 11 will start from 2 April 2025 and will run till 11 April 2025. You have to submit the application for these classes directly to the principal’s office of the concerned school.

When will the admission list be released?

For parents who want to get their child admitted to class 2 or above, the first selection list will be released on 14 April 2025. The admission process of selected students will be completed from 18 April to 21 April 2025. Apart from this, KVS has also clarified that the last date for admission in all classes (except class 11) will be 30 June 2025.

Where can you see the admission list?

KVS has made the admission process completely transparent. The selection list and other updates will not only be posted on the school’s notice board but will also be published on the official website of KVS, Facebook and X (earlier Twitter).
