Latest Updates of RPSC RAS 2024
Rajasthan Public Service Commission has recently released an official notification, stating that now 1096 posts will be filled through RPSC RAS 2024 exam. These posts will be distributed on the basis of different categories, full information of which is available on the RPSC website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
RPSC RAS 2024 Prelims Exam
The first stage of this exam i.e. Prelims was held on 2 February 2025. This exam was conducted in a single shift, in which all the candidates had to take an objective type exam of 200 marks in three hours. The level of the exam was kept at the Bachelor’s Degree level. As we know, there was also a provision of negative marking in the exam, which would give marks for every correct answer and deduct marks for the wrong answer.
RPSC RAS 2024 Prelims Result and Further Process
After the exam, RPSC also released the provisional answer key, in which candidates got a chance to raise objections. If anyone had any objection related to the answer key, then time was given to raise it from 3 to 5 February. In this process, candidates also had to pay a fee of Rs 100. After this, the commission reviewed those objections and released the final answer key with the correct answer. Candidates who qualify for the prelims will be called for the main exam and interview/personality test. Keep in mind that the prelims result is only for screening, and its marks will not be included in the final merit list.
