Hello friends, Recently interesting and emotional news has come to light. You will remember, that the name of the 1965 war hero, Param Vir Chakra awardee Abdul Hamid, was inscribed on the main gate of a government school for many years. But a few days ago, the name of this school was changed to ‘PM Shri Composite School’, which created an atmosphere of protest in the entire area. This move not only saddened Abdul Hamid’s family but also hurt the hearts of the entire generation that respected his valour. Now, after that decision, the education department has corrected its mistake and again inscribed Abdul Hamid’s name on the entrance of the school.
What was the dispute and how was it resolved?
This matter is of Dhamupur village in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. This village is home to the great hero, whose valour we all Indians can never forget. Abdul Hamid, who sacrificed his life in the 1965 war, used to study at that school. But recently when the school was painted, the authorities removed his name and wrote some other name. This upset his family and the villagers, as it was not only like erasing the memory of Abdul Hamid, but it was also playing with the sentiments of his family.
Initially, the education department had written his name on a wall to resolve the dispute, but Abdul Hamid’s grandson Jamil Ahmed rejected it and complained to the higher authorities. He said that his grandfather’s bravery cannot be honoured only by writing it on the wall, this honour should be at the main gate, so that every child and citizen can see it and get inspired.
Abdul Hamid name was brought back
After Jamil Ahmed’s complaint, the administration took notice of the matter and today, February 18, Abdul Hamid name was again inscribed on the main gate of the school. Now, this saga of valour will live on again in the hearts of children and remind the coming generation how a brave soldier sacrificed his life to protect the country.
A strong message in society
This incident is not just a name recall, but it gives a big message that we should never forget our brave soldiers and their contributions. They should be respected not only during war but every day. The education department took the right step and honoured Abdul Hamid valour, which is a matter of pride for all of us.
This incident teaches us that we should always respect our history and our heroes. As long as we remember our heroes, their sagas remain alive and a positive message spreads in society.
