Start of the exam
The exam time will start at 11 am and it will last for two hours. This time, the board has issued some special guidelines that students should keep in mind. First of all, it is important that you reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes early so that you can sit comfortably in your place and calm your mind. Another special thing is that before the exam starts, you will get 15 minutes, which is called “Reading Time”. During this time you can read the question paper carefully. So if your exam starts at 11 am, the reading time will start at 10:45 am.
Things to remember during the exam
When you sit in the exam hall, it is important to keep in mind that you have to read all the instructions given in the question paper carefully. Especially the ones about the number of questions. You have to answer only as many questions as you are allowed. Also, if the question paper mentions any special material like maps or other stationery, you should immediately inform the invigilator.
Instructions for filling out the answer sheet
Now coming to the answer sheet, which is the most important part of the exam. First of all, write your unique ID, index number and subject at the top of the main answer sheet. You have to write this information on every additional answer sheet and other papers as well. During the exam, keep in mind that you have to write the answers to the questions on both sides, except if there are some other instructions given in the question paper. Write the question number clearly and legibly in the left margin, as per the numbering system given in the question paper.
Clear handwriting and proper accessories
Your handwriting should be neat and easy to read. Also, take care of correct spelling. Write all answers in black or blue ink. If the questions require drawing pictures or diagrams, use a pencil for that. Also, do not forget to bring mathematical and drawing equipment to the exam, and also use coloured pencils where needed. The use of electronic devices, such as calculators etc. is strictly prohibited, so do not use them at all.
Result date
The results of the exam will be declared in May 2025. After this, you will get the fruits of your hard work and you will be able to move in a new direction. Friends, board exams are not just an exam, but an important time to decide the direction of your future. So take it seriously and appear in the exam with full preparation.
