Group Decision Making Technique/ Tools
Decision making is the process whereby a final but best choice is made among the alternatives available:
1.Interacting Groups: Typical groups in which members interact with each other face to face.
2.Brainstorming: An idea generation process that specifically encourages any and all alternatives while withholding any criticism of those alternatives.
3.Nominal Group Technique: A group decision making method in which individual members meet face to face to pool their judgments in a systematic but independent fashion.
5. Consensus Mapping: An attempt is made to arrive at a decision by pooling the ideas together generated by several task sub-groups. All ideas are consolidated into a representative structured called “Strawn Map” for all the ideas generated by the sub-groups.
