Hello friends, Special preparations have been made for the board examinations in Jammu and Kashmir this year. Especially for the 12th class examinations, a different enthusiasm and concern is being seen in the minds of students and their parents across the state. Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has made complete preparations for the annual regular examination of class 12th. About 93,586 students will appear in this examination, who will appear in the soft zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir. This examination is being organized from 15 February 2025.

Exams will be held in 989 examination centres

This year the Jammu and Kashmir Board has arranged a total of 989 examination centers. Out of these, 873 examination centres are in soft zone areas, while 116 examination centres have been set up in hard zone areas. A total of 1,02,298 students have registered for the 12th class examination across the state this year, out of which 8,712 students are from hard zone areas.

 

Class 10 and 11 exam schedule

This year, Class 10, 11 and 12 exams are being conducted in the month of February in Jammu And Kashmir as the government has restored the old November session. Board exams for classes 10 to 12 started in mid-February, while exams for students up to class 9 were conducted in November-December last year. While Class 12 exams are starting from February 15, Class 11 exams will be conducted from February 18. Along with core subjects for Class 10, exams for optional and add-on subjects will also be conducted during this period. This year, 1,14,413 students will appear for the Class 10 exam and will take the exam at 1,313 examination centres. At the same time, 1,09,137 students have registered for class 11th, whose examination will be held in 1,004 examination centres.

Special preparations of the government

The government has made special arrangements to conduct the examinations smoothly. The State Education Minister reviewed the preparations for the examination by holding a high-level meeting with the School Education Department (SED) and all the Deputy Commissioners. It was ensured in the meeting that no student faced any problem in reaching the examination centre. The admit card of the students has been allowed to be used as a pass so that they can reach their examination centre without any hindrance. Apart from this, magistrates have been deployed to prevent any kind of irregularity in the examination and flying squads have also been formed, which will keep a complete watch on the examination centres. Only students and examination personnel will be allowed entry into the examination centres so that there is no disturbance of any kind.
